I co-founded Talage® and served as its CTO from 2016 to 2020. Talage built the first online workers' compensation and general liability insurance marketplace for small businesses, later scaling the platform into a SaaS product that enabled insurance carriers to provide technology directly to their agents.

As CTO, I built and led a six-person engineering team, defined the company's technical and security strategy, and delivered APIs and products with 99.99% uptime for national adoption. I also implemented a machine learning pipeline that used behavioral data to generate predictive form defaults, reducing completion time and improving the user experience over time. Talage raised $6.7M in venture funding and reached a $15M valuation during my tenure.

After I stepped down as CTO, Talage continued to grow under new leadership and was acquired by Mission Underwriters in 2025—a successful exit for the company I helped found.
